Thanks for the post. It's very informative.<br>Previously I followed only the 5 rules: a targeted emailing list, an effective subject line, an easy readable email, contact information, the opt-out option.

Hi Brian. This is probably the best post I've seen on email marketing in a very long time! Thanks for all the detail.

The more businesses and individuals that get involved in email marketing, the more opportunity for the innocent to be taken advantage of. If we all keep our practices on the up and up, then we make the Internet a safer place to do business. I think this needs to be reiterated whenever possible.

Thanks again for the post.

Good evening, Brian.

This is a great list of tips and advice for email marketing.

Next year, I'm going to be heavily involved in email marketing in two niches, Internet marketing and helping to market local businesses where I live.

That's two very different niches, yet many of the same principles will apply.

I especially agree with you concerning the overabundance of joint ventures and product launches. I was just ranting about that today on my blog. I really do feel some days that a lot of Internet marketers are just chasing their own tails.

I'm going to try to avoid that, and I respect your opinion on the subject.

You just got a new subscriber.

Act on your dream!
