Hey Brian,

I just checked out the Yahoo.com domain search tool and it is very excellent.

I'll remember not to buy any domains from them, though. At $34.95/year, that is a big ouch.

namecheap.com is a big one. I haven't heard anything bad about them. I have about seventy domains with PowerPipe.com

Hi,

I read the Mike Filsaime reponds to what happen with Godaddy.com. Interesting. It's good to be informed. Information can save you time and a heartache.

To your success and happiness,

Hi Lindsay, nice point. As long as it's not a string of keywords for SEO benefit I agree. I always regretted my fist domain, CheapAzz.net. It wasn't a .COM and it just sounded bad. The product of not thinking things through. I bet I didn't spend two minutes picking it out.

Just make sure to get at least one of your keywords in there somewhere. I made the mistake of not doing that with my main blog, and I've been kicking myself for the last three years, heh. It's a lot harder to rank for keywords without having them in the URL!

I prefere going for a brandable domain name rather than a keyword stuffed. When you manage to get the site running it's better when people have something to refer to that is not creditcardforbadcreditcustomers.com or something like that.

Thanks for the gentle reminder..It's time to transfer my domain from Yahoo to name.com as some of them are expiring pretty soon.

I was at joy the other day when I manage to secure a domain (dailyforexchange.com) from name.com. Oh yeah, I use instantdomain search whenever I do a search, have you tried that before? It's sleek and the results appear almost instantly..
