One Way Back Links From eBay

Here’s a very quick and simple tip to getting quality link backs from one of the biggest sites on the planet – eBay! Best of all it’s free and all you need is an eBay account to create the links.

Everyone knows that as an eBay member you get a profile page. Your profile is a nice way to increase your eBay credibility but it doesn’t get anyone to your other sites and doesn’t allow link backs. The same with your own eBay Blog.

Here’s where the link juice is…

Your eBay About Me page. You can basically build your own About Me page using HTML complete with clickable links without violating any eBay terms. Be sure you read eBay’s About Me Guidelines. There are certain links you can not have but you may be surprised at just how relaxed eBay is with their terms.

Have You Seen Technorati.com Lately?

Add to Technorati FavoritesEveryone’s heard of Technorati. Personally, Up to now I haven’t taken full advantage of the Technorati benefits. Just a short while ago I was looking over Technorati.com and the next thing I knew half an hour went by. There really is a ton of information there.

If you love Blogging as much as I do you will appreciate Technorati’s ‘Top 100 Blogs‘ and ‘What’s Popular‘ sections. These two sections under Technorati’s Blogger Central are great starting points to quickly see what the heavy hitters are doing. If you’re looking for tips and ideas you may as well learn from the pros.

I’m just now getting to claiming our new URL so we’re starting over on Technorati but like I said we weren’t really taking advantage before. So check our Technorati Profile and don’t forget to add me to your favorites if you like the site.

Another Classic Ebook Free For You!

Just yesterday we decided to give away five free classic ebooks. I couldn’t help but feel the collection was missing something. There is only one single book I’ve read more than five times. It’s How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. It’s hands down the best self-help book I’ve ever read – other than the Bible :) .  And it was written in 1936. I decided to see if I could find it in ebook format and was happy to not only find it but find it everywhere free. So I’m adding it to our collection, passing it on to you for your personal use. In recent past we gave these away to our subscribers. We no longer run the website that offered these classics but I feel they were written to be read. I’m giving these away, for now, to our site visitors as a thank you. I’m not even going to require you to subscribe but I would appreciate it if you would consider becoming a subscriber. Simply enter your email in the form at the top right of any page. One more thing, I received these books a few years ago when I purchased a website template. The ebooks came with it. I can not, and wouldn’t anyway, claim the rights or ownership of any of them. Therefore I can not offer any type of resale rights or permissions. Feel free to download them for your personal use. Thank you for visiting…

Top 10+ Email Marketing Tips

Email Marketing On Your Side…

Since the early nineties businesses have known the value of using email to promote their products to new and past customers. Whether promoting products, searching for new customers, up-selling, or simply strengthening our brand, email marketing is an important business tool that needs to be mastered and used properly to be effective. Used incorrectly, email marketing can be a huge waste of time at the very least.

1. Stay on target -
Know your target market and don’t allow yourself to stray off course. Some marketers randomly send emails to people who have absolutely no interest in what is being advertised. Not only will this type of desperation deliver a very low response rate it can increase your spam complaints. Ask every customer and site visitor if they are interested in receiving e-mail advertisements and promotions from you. Continue reading

Extreme Changes For The Extreme Ezine

Five years of online business has grown to over two dozen sites of which eleven are Blogs, three newsletters over a hundred domains and countless joint ventures. We have enjoyed success and endured failure but it has always been fun. Since we is me, meaning I’m a one member band, I’ve decided to trim my work load down. In fact, I’m going to trim off a slim piece and toss what’s left.

The Extreme Ezine will be one of just a few sites I’ll keep. I plan to focus the majority of my online time to the Extreme Ezine and work on improvements, content and readership. The joke sites – gone, the internet marketing sites – gone. Also gone are the video AdSense sites, the eBay sites and every niche site I’ve built.

Why the extreme changes?

Why the extreme changes? Easy question, time! It takes up too much time to run that many projects and as I get older I realize I’d better start spending more time with family while I have time to spend.

There will also be a few changes with the Extreme Ezine too. I’ll be posting much more content on the blog and publishing many more issues of the ezine. Not everything will go out in the Ezine so don’t forget to subscribe to our feed. One change of the ezine will upset a few people but it’s necessary. We will no longer offer free downloads with each issue. When I find something of value and have the rights to give it away I’ll do so but the subscribers area and free downloads are a thing of the past. It was a tough decision but I want subscribers that stay for the content and free download sites are everywhere you look. The site we used to deliver the downloads will also shut down.

What stays?

What stays? So far I’m keeping our free Ad Tracking and short URL site. I’ll keep our corporate site up and a personal blog. Everything else will more than likely be pulled.

Need a site or domain?

Need a site or domain? Like I mentioned, I have over a hundred domains and I’m willing to sell most of them. Eventually I’ll put them up for sale officially but if something interests you now feel free to make an offer.

Thank You!

I would like to thank our subscribers and readers. Many of you have been with use for years and I truly appreciate each and every one of you. It’s folks like you that made it impossible to walk away from the Extreme Ezine.
