Internet Marketing At It’s Best – Using Videos For Niche Site Product

Extreme Ezine subscribers know that Niche Marketing has been of interest to me for a while. I’m always researching various ways and methods to effectively put my niche domains to work. Just today I came across an Opt-in page that impressed me in a couple different ways. I went ahead and joined the list to access the free Micro Niche Finder videos and I’m glad I did.

First of all, the videos in themselves are a product worth having [See A Sample Video Here]. Obviously the videos are designed to promote the product but they offer several eye-opening methods of using niche marketing without buying a thing. Methods such as using article marketing on Ezine Articles with a resource link pointing to a free blogger blog which in-turn drives traffic to a ClickBank affiliate product. How about using Squidoo and Yahoo Answers pointing to your ClickBank affiliate product links? There’s nothing new to these free marketing methods but the videos are so simple it can clear up the whole idea of micro-niche marketing for those new to internet marketing. I recommend at least watching the videos. They can show you how to get started in micro niche marketing without buying niche domains.

The second thing that impressed me with Micro Niche Finder is that James Jones pulled all the stops when setting up this simple sales strategy. The first thing we see when following the sales link is a nicely written squeeze page with an audio message offering five free videos just for opting in (list building). The videos offer something of value to the viewer while also demonstrating effective uses of the product being promoted (generating interest and possible referrals). Access to the videos are on the actual sales page itself (watching the videos is actually part of the sales process). The sales page even incorporates a popup when detecting you’re about to leave the page (increasing conversion rates) offering free copies for your other computers via a physical product mailed to you if purchased now (sense of urgency). Combine all that with a ClickBank affiliate program and I think James Jones has shown us a classic example of internet marketing at it’s best. What do you think?

  • Thanks Yan, much appreciated.
  • Niche sites are not time consuming if you choose the right "keyword(s). Basically, you create one and move on to the next with minimal maintenance.

However, should one of your choice doesn't rank anywhere in the top #10, then you need to build your links accordingly.

You can do so using free traffic for FREE.

    Hope it helps...

  • Thanks Yan, that's exactly what I'm looking for, honest opinions about the program. I still haven't purchased yet and in the mean time I'm been running without it. These niche sites are very time consuming and I haven't started promoting them yet. Any tips and resources you recommend would be appreciated.
  • With all due respect to Garry, I'm done using MNF. If you insist on using it, don't rely on its SOC. "Green" doesn't really equate to less competition.

    Anyway nice lenses, Brian.

PS: on last check, "Truth About Free Credit Reports" returns no search volume.

  • Hi Brenda. The videos are pretty informative by themselves.

By careful with the one that uses Yahoo Answers. I got my Yahoo Answer account suspended after the first question I answered. I'm not sure what I did wrong or if it will ever be re-instated because Yahoo's help replies are just canned messages. Not that big of a lose but still frustrating.

I plan to hit the niche site building pretty hard this weekend.
  • Nice post Brian...very informative. I have been sitting on the fence about Micro Niche Finder but think I will now opt in to watch the videos! Thanks!! And yes, I strongly believe in offering a free gift of some sort in return for someone opting into your list!

    Have a good one,
    Brenda

  • I don't use it yet, no. I will once I delve into niche blogging.

Gary is awesome indeed. I've been following/friends with him for some time now. :)

  • Hi Dennis. Not yet, I'm still debating. I have been trying to put some of the things in the videos to use though. To promote one of my niche sites NewCreditHope.com I've just completed my first two Squidoo Lenses: The Truth About Free Credit Reports and Disputing Credit Report Errors

I've also started with Yahoo! answers and I'm thinking about setting up a few quick blogger blogs. Now I need to start writing articles again.

I went with that niche because I already had the domain but with Micro Niche Finder I could find better and less competitive niches to work on. I was just reading a post by Garry and he make a lot of sense. How To Use Micro Niche Finder Correctly. It's nice to hear he uses it and that insider information can certainly help. Do you use it?

The only problem with all of this is my regular sites are suffering and I haven't been making the rounds on my favorite blogs. I have to get a handle on time or it's going to do more harm than good.
  • Did you purchase yet? I must admit, the "to go" version is sweet. :)

  • A little while back we had a pretty good discussion on whether or not giving free gifts for opting in is an effective way to generate a profitable list. This is an example of when giving away free gifts to subscribers can generate sales.
