- Domains -
It’s not really site news but I’ve been spending a lot of time moving domains out of Yahoo!s price gouging hands. At $34.95/year for domain renewals I won’t be doing much business with Yahoo. I’m down to 105 domain so at least it’s not as bad as it would have been a few years ago. See my blog post at Yahoo Price Gouging @ $34.95/year

- Web 2.0 Name Generator –
A little over a year ago I was messing around on this site and found the perfect social bookmarking domain name. Like any good procrastinator I bought it (them) and did nothing with it. They are: linksorb.com and linkzorb.com

Finding these funny videos has to be one of the best parts of writing for the Extreme Ezine. The only problem is that it sets me so far back because it’s so hard to pull away from YouTube. Here’s what I have for this issue…

Helpful wife
JOKE: A male driver is pulled over by a cop and the following conversation takes place:
Man: What’s the problem officer?
Cop: You were going at least 75 in a 55 zone.
Man: No sir, I was going 65.
Wife: Oh Harry. You were going 80.
(Man gives his wife a dirty look.)
Cop: I’m also going to give you a ticket for your broken tail light.
Man: Broken tail light? I didn’t know about a broken tail light!
Wife: Oh Harry, you’ve known about that tail light for weeks.
(Man gives his wife a dirty look.)
Cop: I’m also going to give you a citation for not wearing your seat belt.
Man: Oh, I just took it off when you were walking up to the car.
Wife: Oh Harry, you never wear your seat belt.
Man: Shut your mouth, woman!
Cop: Ma’am, does your husband always talk to you this way?
Wife: No, only when he’s drunk.

Permission Marketing
Permission based marketing, if not developed by, was at least popularized by Seth Godin. Author of Permission Marketing, Seth Godin speaks at events on many marketing topics including permission based marketing. Here’s a nice YouTube video worth watching: “All Marketers are Liars” - Seth Godin speaks at Google
